City Year is an AmeriCorps Program that assists underserved schools with students' attendance, behavior, and course comprehension. I served two years before joining as a full time staff member.

During my first year, I served in Tulsa in a 7th grade math classroom tracking data, planning events, and working through big picture problems centered around distance learning. As a Senior AmeriCorps Member in Boston, I serve as a Project Lead and coordinate service projects as part of the national civic engagement team. I then combined my passions for event planning and design to fulfill the role of Events & Marketing Manager at the Tulsa site.
