Branding Intern Relay Design Co.

  • Iterated logo and branding design elements for a new brand

  • Analyzed competitor brands to kick-off internal rebranding strategy

  • Audited Relay Design Co’s current brand and initiated moodboards for website elements

Competitor Analysis

To kick off Relay Design Co.’s internal branding strategy, I took a deep dive into other design agencies and looked at their branding, website, social media, and language/tone. For quick reference, the PDF is clickable on the table of contents as well as externally to the competitor’s website and Instagram.

Relay Branding Audit

Using the Competitor Analysis and additional research, I made 6 suggestion boards with successful branding elements. The suggestions were made with Relay’s existing brand elements in mind - including logo, colors, typography, icons, photography style, and website.

Design Week Concepts

I categorized past AIGA design weeks branding based on its primary focus (i.e. typography). I then proposed several concepts for themes relating to midwestern life, working from home, and placemaking.
